What have we been up to:

Kimberley Pathfinders entered into the BC Championships for Orienteering.  This is a photo of Jasmine McLean almost at her last check point. The girls finished last in their age category with times of 2hr04, and 2hr07, for a 2 1/2 km course.  They had fun trying a very difficult course as beginners and want to try it again next year.

 

Kimberley Pathfinders received their Community Service Award at the 2007 Relay for Life event in Kimberley.  They completed the community service by running the imagination station, and all the pre-event planning that went into it.  The girls also distributed information about how pesticides are harmful to the environment and cause cancer.  This was a full year undertaking and they enjoyed it all the way and have been asked to run it again next year.
